Role : Technical Lead SAP ABAP

Client : Chevron

Description : The scope of the project is implementation of pricing procedures in SAP for automatic price

calculation in purchase orders for Brazil tax codes.

Responsibilities :

Developed a pricing routine to calculate the prices in purchase orders based on the Brazilian tax codes.

Description : The project focused on technical upgrade of Chevron’s HR production stack from R/3 version

ECC 6.0 EHP5 to ECC 6.0 EHP6, thus involving the implementation of HR renewal add ons with HCM

functionalities related to ESS/MSS.

Responsibilities :

Performed pre upgrade activities, analyzed custom objects affected due to upgrade, and implemented the

suitable OSS notes by checking the release/support pack level of each SAP component in the system.

Analyzed all the objects in SPAU for it to be adopted to modifications or to be reset to original, and utilized

Description : The PASSPORT (Personnel Actions Self Service Portal) project looked to upgrade SAP’s

Employee Self Service (ESS) to improve user friendliness and utilization. The project benefited around 35,000

employees working in downstream and chemicals; corporate departments; upstream and gas; and technology

and services spread across US and UK.

Responsibilities :

Presented a technical presentation to the clients projecting the “As Is” scenario of the ESS service and

received appreciations.

Involved in “discovery” testing and analysis to verify technical viability of possible alternatives.

Global Account Reconciliation Solution Aug`12 Feb` 13

Description : The new reconciliation approach involved an outbound interface from SAP to third party

systems (ReconNET), thus ensuring the required identification and validation of month end account balances

on the Balance Sheet to source transactions to partners, shareholders and the financial markets.

Responsibilities :

Implemented reports to calculate the month end account balances/transactions according to the company

codes and the specific G/L accounts, to be sent to legacy systems through a middleware, from the application

server.

Suggested design to have the last run filename in database, thereby facilitating the user to read the

applies firm prices, discounts, and temporary voluntary allowances to customers for certain materials in SAP.

Sales Deal is used extensively by the Lubricants business group.

Responsibilities :

Implemented multiple reports to upload/change sales deals in the ABAP server and store the log.
