Purpose and Scope: Collaborate closely with key engineering, technical and operational personnel to identify
and develop engineering solutions to meet corporate and market expectations. Manage 7 direct reports in Italy,
Sweden, China, Brazil, and North America, and lead a team of ~90 staff. Direct the development of electronic
controls systems utilized in microwaves, ranges, radiant and induction cook tops for the US and European
markets. Areas of focus include wiring harness design, new product design, hardware configuration and
software programming, application development for mobile devices, and Wi-Fi graphics interfaces. Lead by
example, and maintain a high level of morale and dedication across all geographic regions.
Organizational Impact Contributions:
Within 3 years, turned around a severely underperforming team now producing exceptional results,
with no deadline or schedule delays during the past 5 years. Managed around 300 cross-regional programs
over the past 5 years, and developed a project tracking methodology that assures flawless execution.
Formulation with marketing and other stakeholders on the 5 year product plans and roadmaps anticipating
requirements and marketing trends in a multi-brand, international scenario.
Group got high marks, during a leadership review, due to the complexity reduction execution during the
2014 audit carried out by Mckinsey Consulting.
QUALITY MANAGER 2006-2008
Purpose and Scope: Managed product launches through strong leadership and the ability to lead global teams
in Italy, Germany, and Slovakia. Excelled on a daily basis, including formulating strategies and approaches to
increase product quality while meeting cost objectives and strict deadlines.
Organizational Impact Contributions:
Restructured and refocused the European team to resolve ongoing, serious quality issues. This delivered
significant results in less than 12 months. Additionally, all new product launches met quality targets.
