Project Per Diem Invoicing System (PDIS) creates invoices for Per

Description Diem and Detention charges based on container and bill of

loading information for North America. PDIS uses B/L

(Bill of loading number) information to calculate correct

last free day and rates. PDIS also allows for the

re-billing of per diem charges, maintaining service

contracts, calculating tiered tariffs and many other

business rules. PDIS processes and collates the details

so that users or other systems may conduct reporting and

analysis on DnD.

There is no solution in place currently to load the D&D

data for N.America region maintained by PDIS. But there

already exists a process to load CXED data (Rest of the

world D&D data) into SIM. Since there is a larger scope

to merge these two data sets into EDW, there needs to be

a ELT solution to load PDIS source data feeds into SIM.
