Description

The Instrument Toolkit Online project has been actively resourced by Rosemount which includes three

different Oracle applications and an aligned user experience which are required to deliver the necessary

business capabilities for transition: Oracle Product Advisor, Oracle iStore and Oracle Configurator

developer. We as a testing team had to test the entire integration of Product Advisor and configurator from

Global sales order form to ensure all the sizing details from PA are moved to configurator and able to

book the order successfully.

Role: QA Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Involved in various Requirement, Design phase development and Configuration meetings along

with business and development teams.

• Created and maintained Test Cases in HP Quality Centre (HPQC) according to the Business

Requirements.

• Experience in Test Planning, creation of Test Strategy, Design and execution of Test Cases, Defect

Management and Reporting.

• Working in Agile environment, in which User Stories with its tasks were assigned to me as per the

iteration.

Role: QA Engineer

Travelport Fares and Pricing provides complete fares and pricing for online itineraries via a

comprehensive fares database. The Application enables to get the lowest fares for the travel needs of the

customers available in the client’s Reservation system .It involved testing Web based application of

different airline web site to verify whether the ticket was priced based on the existing fare in the agile

environment.

Responsibilities:

• Interacted with the business and development teams to understand the requirements, evaluate

feasibility, plan and implement Integration and Functional testing.

• Involved in Preparation, Reviewing and Execution of Test cases.

• Involved in writing test plan for the web application after analyzing the specifications and

Role: QA Engineer

The Axess will provide travel agents and their customers with numerous new benefits including: up-to-

date web services solutions, powerful low fare, air shopping technology through Travelport’s fares and

shopping platform, enhanced hotel and car content and improved airline connectivity. Application

involves migrating Reservations and Departure Control System to external hosted GDS system. It

involved testing of ticketing, pricing, refund, exchange and retrieving of PNRS in AXESS GDS.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Test Design, Test Execution, Defect Management and Test Reporting

• Developing test scripts and ensuring all the test steps are properly captured for all testing

scenarios keeping the requirement and design documents into consideration

• Extensively wrote SQL queries for backend testing of all Test Cases and validated data accuracy

for various phases of project.

• Conducting defect triage calls and getting status update from the developers.

Apollo PNR Migration enables the existing PNRs that have segments with Continental Airlines will be

changed to the UA code. The CO segment will be changed as “Unable, Flight not operate” and the PNR

will have a new UA segment with status code “schedule change confirmed”

System to host united airlines reservation system in HP SHARES system. In order to provide control to

the SHARES system all the PNR, Ticket, GCR etc will be migrated to the SHARES system. It involves

testing whether all the PNRs and GCRs have been migrated to the SHARES system.

Responsibilities:

• Team member for development of test plans and test scripts

• Involved in various phases of testing like test case construction, test execution and test reporting.

• Created test scenarios and test cases based on functional documents
