JOB DESCRIPTION:

Installation / Calibration / Testing / Maintenance and Troubleshooting

of Different types of GPIB controlled Auto Test Equipments (ATE) specially designed for

programming, product changeover, RF tuning, testing of mobile phones and new product

implementation.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for installation, configuration and Maintenance of Automated Test

Equipment (mobile testing final user interface tester).

Evaluation and verification of testers (GR&R) as per quality standards and

responsible for new product changeover.

Installation and maintenance of Test rack (BUI) used for communicating between

Base station (Agilent Technologies), power sensor (R&S) and tester for various

GSM test (GSM 900 & 1800).

Maintenance of Final User interface test such as keypad, audio, vibration,vision,

GSM tests.

RF tuning & EM tuning of mobiles.

Correct time giving machine for after changeover,and also need full for quality.

Servicing of HARDWARE TESTING instruments.

Giving the technical supports and guidance for new Technicians.

Evaluation and verification of testers as per quality standards.

Participated in NFF (No Fault Found) Reduction activities

100% utilization of testers for productivity improvement.

Arranging and performing change over and preventive maintenance.

Calibrating test Racks and equipments according to product standards.

With the instructions from Line Engineers for new product change over responsible

for Changing the respective Line to the Required Model With the corresponding

Documents.

GPIB based Agilent Tester with HP test rack for RF Tuning, Battery Calibration,

Programing and testing of mobile Phones.

ORBIS test box with for Testing overall mobile performance as per quality

standards [ RF, Audio, Vision, Vibrator, Charger, Key pad, Call making Tests, etc]

Instrument handling like Base station, Electronic Signal Generator, Spectrum

Servicing for the pcb testing adapter (jig),and testing related instruments.

Trouble shooting electronic PCB’S and servicing tester motherboards.
