Drafted multi-count complex litigation complaints and answers thereto, related discovery,
dispositive motions, and additional pleadings, in both federal/bankruptcy court and state court, for
matters involving corporate officer/director misconduct, fraudulent transfers, fraud and
misrepresentation, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, violation of Georgia RICO, negligence,
professional malpractice, copyright, patent, and trademark infringement, personal injury, and
FDCPA violations, among others, with extensive experience with written and in-court motion
practice, document management and review, discovery practice, including depositions, mediation,
jury trial, and overall case management.
Drafted complex appellate briefs in state and federal courts involving a variety of matters,
including claims for aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, conspiracy to breach fiduciary
duty, fraud, misappropriation of trade secrets, and interpretation/application of local garnishment
statutes and the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
Managed multiple prejudgment and postjudgment commercial collection matters, with primary
responsibility for preparation of pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and postjudgment
collection, including judgment creditor representation in Bankruptcy Court (proofs of claim and
stay relief).
Managed multiple avoidance actions and claims objection matters in Bankruptcy Court with
significant experience with preference and claim analysis, drafting of complaints, objections, and
subsequent pleadings, discovery and motion practice, and settlement negotiations on both sides.
Drafted bankruptcy asset purchase agreements, sale motions, and bid procedures, settlement
approval motions and underlying settlement agreements, stay relief motions, and motions to
appoint trustees and actively involved in all phases of pursuit of these matters.
