Project Details

BE Final year project:

Project title: Web Based Remote Monitoring System

Project description: This project can be implemented for many applications where the

monitoring and controlling is required wirelessly. For the demo purpose a module was designed

using ARM-7(lpc2148) microcontroller, to which a temperature sensor, a pressure sensor, a GPS

and a GSM module is connected. The parameters of sensors and GPS are concatenated and are

made as a data packet. The data packet is sent to a particular IP address and PORT address of

monitoring device using GPRS. The sent data is received and displayed on the special front end

software called HERCILUS which acts as web page for our project.

Period: Mar 2014 – May 2014.

Technologies: Embedded-C, GPRS, AT-commands.

Environment: Kiel uVision, Hercules, ARM-7(2148).
