PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title AUTOMATION OF SHOPPING CART TO EASE QUEUE IN MALLS BY

USING RFID

Description This project is mainly designed to monitor the business in wide retail

shops i. e ., shopping malls, supermarkets etc. Here RFID is used for reading

the product code and sending the data to zigbee module interface with RFID

module. The project contains trolley modules. RF reader is fixed in to the

trolley cart. This can easily help to identify the customer and the trolley he has

at the moment in addition to the number and cost of the products that he has

purchased. While a customer puts a product in to that trolley, the RFID reader

reads the product code and sends the data to zigbee module. The prices are

automatically updated in the system. If the customer takes out any of the

products from the trolley, then the price will automatically get reduced. There

is no need to monitor our customers. They can pay the bill by the database

accounts and leave the shopping complex in very short time.
