Electrical Submersible Pumps Sustaining Pump Product Engineer

• Qualified to disposition non-conforming parts. Reviewed, revised, and updated numerous engineering
specifications to reflect current procedures. Thoroughly inspected pump specifications to create a database of
referenced documents. Created over 20 engineering change notifications, and checked over 50 drawings.
Modified existing and new bills of materials. Performed root cause analysis on pump assembly design
problems. Investigated design specifications for over 200 O-rings to assist with the description standardization.
Conducted design calculations to determine appropriate values needed in reclaiming specification. Worked
cohesively with a team of six other engineers to complete engineering related tasks.
• Notable Projects:
o Discharges- Analyzed drawings to fulfill specific vendor requirements. Researched potential new
materials within internal company material specifications. Contacted vendors to obtain prices for new
materials.
o Productivity Tool- Created a productivity tool using VBA, within Microsoft Excel, and SAP to assist with
determining items that could be obsoleted from SAP. This tool was developed to increase engineering
time efficiency with part consolidation.

• Aided with assembly and
disassembly of mechanical barrier valve prototype before and after testing. Wrote testing procedure
documents and assisted with the pressure testing of the prototype ball valve. Assisted with creating and
updating tool parts in SolidWorks as well as performing root cause analysis for any quality assurance defects.
Animated SolidWorks assembly to show the functionality of mechanical barrier valve. Participated in vendor
meetings and after action reviews.
• Notable Projects:
o Rapid Prototype- Created a full scale model of a mechanical barrier valve for display and training
purposes. Produced project plan and worked within confines of budget.
o Posters- Used technical writing skills to design a mechanical barrier valve poster and a hydraulic
module poster for display to enhance understanding and for marketing purposes.
