Project – Bank operations and Market Risk Dashboards

Client: Cal bank Corporation, Ghana

Role: Business Object Developer

Environment: Designer, Web Intelligence, Xcelsius, SQL.

Description:

This Project has been developed for financial management system of Cal bank, which is one of the largest

savings and financial banks in Ghana. We generated reports that helped analyze on weekly and monthly

basis of Cal bank. The project involved development of various complex, Ad-hoc and canned reports.

Large manipulations were done to generate reports that could help the mangers to analyze and improve

the performance of company in the weaker areas and increase customer base

Responsibilities:

• Developed universes, reports using Designer, Web Intelligence. Created metrics and

dashboards using Application Foundation

• Created reports for various Portfolios using the Universes as the main data Providers

• Created Classes (Sub classes), Objects, Prompts and Predefined conditions and user defined

objects and custom Hierarchies for drill down purposes

• Tested Universe and Reports, which includes

Database connectivity

Resolved loops and contexts to ensure the correct results from the query

Objects in the universe, to ensure the correct mapping of the objects

Aggregate awareness to ensure the query is pulling correct level of aggregation

Verified the data by running the SQL against the database
