Stryker Corporation, Dallas, TX 2003-2015
IT Director, Business Operations and Transformation, US (2012-20015) – Oversight of Enterprise
Systems for sites across US supporting divisions representing more than $2.2B of Stryker’s revenue located
in the following states: Michigan, Florida, Utah, Arizona, and Pennsylvania. Currently supporting Projects
and day-to-day operations of the ERP, MES, and Reporting systems, as well as the supporting technologies
and processes.
• Systems supported: ERP, Business Intelligence/Reporting, MES, and back-end operations systems.
• Led the ERP deployment of JD Edwards at the Medical division. A project done on time and under
budget representing immediate business performance improvements of 15%.
• Implemented the MDET (Medical Device Excise Tax) project as part of Government mandate to pay
additional taxes and reported on it for all US divisions.
• Completed Wave 2014 of the UDI (Unique Device Identifier) project and worked on Wave 2015, a
multi-year government mandate to standardize medical device ID numbers.
• Led divisional team currently going through ERP upgrade to Oracle EBS R12 and supported the
early stages of the project.

short cut to centralize data collection across incompatible ERP systems and five different time
zones.
• Managed implementation of Product Registration system for tracking and follow up of registration
status at the country level.
• Led the Business Intelligence Project which brought the reporting level visibility, traceability and
efficiency to savings of 20%.

of projects and initiatives, which positioned the business for effective growth:
• Standardized the Active Directory structure by consolidating the multiple sub domains into a single
domain across the countries.
• Implemented a robust DR structure to prepare the division for better business continuity.
• Ran ERP upgrades of QAD’s MFG/Pro for Chile, Argentina, and Mexico; and implemented new
ERP in Brazil and newly opened Colombia office.

going through the software lifecycle process taking the Object Oriented approach. Design performed on

also maintained Database servers, Unix servers, and Exchange servers. Work performed covered setup
programming development and support of the telecom switches and PBX systems.
