IT, Operations Manager

In charge of all phases of IT operations and support functions including: security, networking, server

administration, data center, service desk, print and phone system. Also responsible for IT strategies,

budgeting, service contracts and procurement.

Accomplishments

Manage six IT technicians in St. Louis, Denver and Kansas City. Schedule and prioritize workloads,

Migrated over 100 servers and other IT technologies to a remote data center. Developed project

Managerial Accomplishments

Led ten Regional Directors, providing MIS services for over 1,700 users who are represented in 31

brands and locations in the US and Canada. Coached and developed four new directors in the same

Migrated four distinct IT Support operations and the setup group into one cohesive unit and

and the computer lease database into one system. Automated ticket creations with automatic

Created, designed and implemented a new IT Service System “Follow-the-Sun”. Utilizing existing IP

phone system, created a ring schedule that would transfer our main IT support number to each

successive office around the world eliminating the need to carry an after hours pager. Increased

response time, and billable hours, resulting in a higher level of customer satisfaction and a

significant reduction in the workload on our after-hours pager team.

Technical Accomplishments

Streamlined process and improved accountability in the procurement, management and disposition

of $4.7M in leased equipment.

Project Accomplishments

Evaluated connected copier/printer device standard between three manufactures and successfully

rolled out 30 devices in our North American offices. This standardization saved approximately $275k

per year.

Coordinated the migrations of three, 30 plus person stand-alone offices onto our corporate

network. Racked and setup switch equipment and file server, migrated workstations from

Workgroup to Corporate AD infrastructure, built printer queues and converted Blackberry mobile

devices to our management environment.

Primary focal point for the installation of our Hong Kong Design studio. Specified equipment, found

“in country” vendors, procured the equipment and trained the local user to install and configure the

equipment.
