Current responsibilities include the oversight of all manufacturing and
distribution activities for the Construction Systems Division urethane
facility. Managing a staff of 120 employees, performing functions in
Environmental Health and Safety, Engineering, Human Resources, Logistics
management, Quality Control and Production functions.
Strategic planning
. As a member of the Business Unit leadership team, I partner with our
customers and global business segment managers to ensure we are
progressively advancing our product lines and facilities to meet the
growing needs of a diverse market. Global strategies include
logistical studies of delivered pricing and product availability which
drive decision points of increased capacity for potential global
expansion facility/equipment expansions.

customers and evaluate market conditions to assess product advancement

. Member of the North American Contractor Safety Steering Committee
which establishes corporate procedural guidelines for all contracted

Operational Leadership
. Safety focused leadership throughout my entire career with proven
results. The two Texas sites I previously managed are currently
approaching 8 years without an OSHA recordable and the Brighton,
Colorado site is quickly approaching 2 years without an OSHA
recordable injury. Both are historic accomplishments for the sites.
. Led the team to LEAN manufacturing principles and have initiated
concepts with 5S, 8 Wastes and Visual Management with 18 months of
having responsibilities in Brighton, CO.
. Excellent leadership resulted in a 50% reduction in non-conformance
batching and waste which resulted in a savings of $450k during my
first 12 months in the urethane division.
. I have directed efforts to recognize a 9% conversion cost improvement
for my first calendar year at the facility resulting in $1.3 million
improvement with operating costs over the previous year.
. After assessing the plant operations and business strategy, I have
restructured the reporting responsibilities to optimize people's
talents and plant output to position ourselves to exceed the 2012
-2014 financial objectives.
. I am a core team member for the North American BASF Operational
Excellence team. I serve a key role in the architecture of the
Autonomous site process in 10'-11' which continues to be the current
structure of the national Operational Excellence assessment team for
small - medium sites.

Site Manager
Responsible for the overall manufacturing and distribution activities for
the Wall Systems and Concrete Admixtures Divisions. Managing a staff at two
facilities performing the plant's manufacturing, logistical, distribution,
and marketing operations.
. Directed the team through 3 ownership transitions from '99-'07
(SKW/MBT, Degussa & BASF)
. Led the plant construction and relocation for the Forest Hill Texas
Admixtures operations to Lancaster in 2009. I coordinated the site
teams, contractors and worked with local city officials (city council,
fire marshal, economic development) involved with the permitting
processes. The project was performed on budget and without any
recordable injuries on site.
. Managed the decommissioning of the Forest Hill Texas plant in 2009.
These activities were performed in less than 60 days, on budget and
without any recordable injuries
. Directed the engineering and plant construction and relocation of the
Lancaster acrylics operations in 2007. The project included the
addition of automated conveying and labeling equipment and relocating
all existing manufacturing equipment. The plant was relocated and
fully functional within 10 days during the during the highest demand
months of the calendar year. The project was performed on budget and
without any recordable injuries on site.
Degussa Construction Chemicals, Lancaster, TX
March 1999 to July 2006
Site Manager
. Increased production capacity through three competitor acquisitions by
implementing cold-blending mixing process improvements, automated
packaging, and the restructuring of labor. Expanded the production of
acrylic coatings by 223% from 1999 - 2006.
. Automated processes for conveying, labeling, order fulfillment, and
the charging of raw materials. Installed load cells for all high-
speed disperser and cold-blending ribbon mixing equipment to enhance
quality and productivity.
. Performed strategic analysis and implemented process improvements for
the reduction of conversion per unit cost. Reduced the sites
conversion costs by 24% ending in 2005.
. Worked directly with Corporate Product Managers and Directors to
ensure the overall health of the product and for process improvements.
. Implemented and received certification for ISO 14001 in 2004 and ISO
9001 in 2005. Created ISO Work Instructions to reflect BASF's quality
policies and manuals. Worked directly with Underwriter's Laboratories
and internal auditors to obtain ISO compliance.

initiatives.
. Oversee marketing operations responsible for creation of color
formulations, standard color pallets, and the national distribution of
