. Handled and maintained 10 phone lines in a busy medical office,

making sure all messages where recorded properly for physicians and

calls where transferred to appropriate physicians when available in a

timely fashion.

. Greeted and directed all patients to the appropriate locations within

the office to see various physicians.

. Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Pitney Bowes

postage meter making sure ink cartridges were changed and making

trips to the post office to have postage added to the meter.

. Mailed monthly billing statements to patients as well as processing

of credit cards for co-payments and other payments.

. Arranged pick-up and deliveries of materials with outside shipping

vendors such as, Fed Ex, UPS and DHL, which included entering

confirmation numbers into computer database for future reference.

. Handled the scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments using

Medical Manager Software. Made sure all patient appointments were

recorded in the system calendar and provided reminder phone calls to

patients cutting down on last minute cancellations and no-shows at

the office.

. Compiled and recorded patient medical information into computer

database making sure all information being entered was accurate and

complete.'

. Responsible for pulling patient records and updating patient record

information for physicians and opticians. Handed off the file to

each of the physicians before they saw patients, updated all patient

records after each exam, and returned to its proper location.

. Liaison between HMO Insurance Companies (such as) and patients making

sure coverage of patient services was covered by insurance company.
