Academic Project

Title : GENERATION OF POWER USING GRAVITATIONAL FORCE.

Team Size: 5 Members

Role : Leader

Description: This project is based on generation of electric power using

endless gravitational force of the earth. This kind of power generation

uses a dynamo, spring and gearing mechanism. First the earth's

gravitational force acting on the entity is converted into kinetic energy

and then to rotational motion through which it leads to rotation of dynamo

to produce electrical output. When the entity comes to rest the spring

pulls the entity upwards and the process repeats continuously. By using

this method the electric power generated is purely eco-friendly and is

obtained with no running costs.

Achievements

. Won second prize in paper presentation during Independence Day events

conducted in our college 2010.

. Won first prize in paper presentation at MERITS 2K13 conducted by REGENCY

INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, YANAM.

. Presented a paper on the topic SCADA (supervisory control and data

acquisition) in GIET College Rajahmundry, JNTU VIZIANAGARAM.
