• Follow up on work permits system and inspection.

• Preparation & Modification of HIRA & EIA of various departments.

• Maintenance of Fire Hydrant system, Fire Extinguisher systems, & Rescue equipments.

• Co-ordinate & conduct various departmental training, safety audit, safety committee meeting & mock

drill.

• Lead the team to carry out function on various occasions like World Environment Day, Safety Week etc.

• Maintaining general information report, workplace monitoring, Hazard condition and other requirement

like Equipment needs for Fast Aid, PPE, etc.

• Legal Compliance & Liaison with Sikkim State Pollution Control Board, Chief Controller Explosive, & other

government dept.

• Ensure proper installation, running & maintenance of Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) & Sewage Treatment

Plant (STP).

• Ensure proper disposal of Hazardous Waste to TSDF sites.

• Establish and ensure proper environmental workplace monitoring system. (Ambient Air, Water, Noise &

Soil etc.)

• To ensure the treated effluent is discharged from the factory are will in the discharge specification of State

Pollution Control Board.

• Also having knowledge of analysis of various parameters of water & waste water.

• Having knowledge to work in SAP.
