Aviation Reproduction (contract) - Mississauga, ON

Controls Engineer, 10/12 to 1/13

Incorporated an existing PLC System with a newly-purchased Motion-Platform

Controller, that is utilized in the Amusement Ride Industry, to mimic a

flight-simulator. Created a state-diagram control sequence that

incorporated an on-board control system with an external data-structure

driven motion controller.

Projects & Results:

. Programming and Integration of an Omron PLC/HMI with a 3rd party,

Windows-based, Motion-Platform Controller

. Integrated motion "schedules" with existing videos, to mimic a flight

simulator, used as a cabin trainer for stewards and stewardesses

. Made various minimal changes to the existing control system, to

account for additions and changes, as well as updating documentation

to define the changes for the end-users

Manufacturing & Controls Engineer, 12/11 to 5/12

Manufacturing plant floor-support of all day-to-day operations, within an

Automotive OEM Supplier factory setting.

. Created plant-layout changes and incorporated new designs, via AutoCAD
