As a sales associate for Sam’s Club I deal with customer. I check out customer and help assist them with

p utting their i tems in the basket. I also upsell. At Sam’s we have two memberships, a regular one and a

p lus membership. My job is to get every member that checks out to upgrade to the plus membership if

t hey do not have it. I also have to get the member to renew their memberships before they expire. I have a

certain goal I have to meet every day.

As working as a customer care professional I often assisted providers. The providers will call about claim

i nformation regarding several patients from several different insurance companies. As Optum we were the

bank that the different insurance companies use to pay their clients electronically. I will give them

i nformation such as, if we received a payment, the payment date, the amount and at t imes what bank we

have on file. Resetting passwords to the provider’s online access was another big part of my job.

As a data entry clerk, the residents of Massachusetts send in their applications for the affordable care act

and I simple submit the applications electronically as they send them in via paper.

Verify member's pre-authorization for medication. I help callers with their needs. I have computer skills,

customer service skills. I open new cases for different member. Such as if the caller or member needs a

p re-authorization, I will note take it in the system, get the member over to a clinical pharmacist from that

point. I can send out a fax from my computer without using a telephone.
