2009-October 2011: Property Manager, SMG Management Inc., Mt. Dora and

CT. directed the management of residential and commercial holding equivalent to 2,000
units and 32,000 square feet of retail space. Responsibilities:
• Recruiting, training, supervising and evaluating 62 employees; developed
employee handbook.
• Establishing market program; increased occupancy from 75% to 98%.
• Overseeing all financial aspects of the operation, annual budges and capital
improvements; increased collections from 60% to 90%.
• Maintaining sound relationship with clients, agencies, vendor, bank and real estate
companies; sustained good rapport with residents through community activities/
newsletters; fostered staff growth; kept morale high.

1988-1991: Senior Property Manager, MB Management Corporation, Boston, MA.
For the first two years of my tenure with MB management, I was Site manager to 449
residential units ad numerous commercial lease spaces.
As Senior Manager, I directed the management of residential and commercial holding
equivalent to 700 residential units and 12,000 square feet of leased space.
• Supervised administrative and maintenance staff, oversaw all aspects of
government funding, including HUD and MHFA; marketed properties. Was given
“Exceptional” rating by the MHFA for implementing their guidelines/procedures
to the benefit of residents and property owners.
• Initiated/implemented $3.5M budget and $5M budget for capital improvements;
scheduled work and evaluated performance of employees and again acted as
liaison to residents, CEO and Board members.
