Customer Support over the phone with system diagnosis via phone,
recommending options and ways to correct the issues, guiding clients
through systems to try out possible fixes before escalating up to remote
access or in home option.
In Geek Squad, I complete computer setups with setting up profiles plus
passwords, removing useless programs, making accounts, installing
software from Antivirus to office, running antivirus programs and
removing threats and malware. Also setting up and activating cell phones
and tablets with accounts, diagnosing and restoring computers, phones,
and tablets, backing up contacts and personal information from the same
devices.
I have also setup printers, air cards to work with mobile devices, have
also done customer support in person with diagnosis of units in person,
having to explain what is wrong with unit and what needs to done to fix
unit in non-computer jargon ranging from kids to seniors.
Hardware swaps and installs, running hardware diagnosis on units,
installing invishields on tablets and phones. Selling services,
protection plans recommendations for upgrades and hardware replacement. I
also have experience with Active Directory and Networking. I also update
the Geek Squad database with information from client phone calls
requesting additional software, permission to do additional work,
approval for send out for repair and completion of work done to units.
Put in request for updates on repair work from service center. Updating
clients on any replacements of units and to come in for in store
exchanges. Testing units that return from service center to insure that
work is done correctly. Sending and receiving units to service center or
data recovery center.
