Projects:
. Setup HADR environiment for prod and CAT. Developed scripts on primary
and standby hadr pair. Took an offline backup from the exisiting
server and database. Created instance and database for standby similar
to primary. Restore backup from primary on to standby. Run the
configuration parameters on hadr pair. Setup alternative server on
both databases and enabled HADR. Setup monitoring scripts on primary
for status and sync check.
. Man-In-The-Middle attack: Performed MITM attacks between two hosts.
Captured, read and modified the data transfer by arp spoofing. Studied
about the defence schemes.
. Server-client model implementation: Developed model social
networking site using socket programming in PYTHON. The system
supports client interaction, communication and notification.
Maintained MySql for database for messages and multicast of
notification.
. Simulation of Dense-Mode Multicast Algorithm Using NS2 tool: Generated
Dense-Mode multicast algorithm. Observed how the CR's and DR's works
in an MPLS network.
. Implementation of VoIP using SIP connections over Ad-Hoc networks:
Used Asterick software to setup server for Ad-Hoc connections.
Analysis of connection between the clients and server is done using
wireshark. Worked on Linux and windows based platform.
. Implementation of network protocols: Using GNS3, network topology has
been setup. Implemented protocols like RIP,OSPF. Captured and analysed
the LSA packets using wireshark.
Masters Project:
Experimental analysis with Load Balancing for a Cloud Computing Network:
. Using Cisco3640 routers a tolopogy that could be used for DCN was
designed and connected.
. Configured the routers with OSPF with specific areas.
. Created senarios to increase link cost or induce traffic and study how
the routing changes.
. Compared the results with simuated output of the same topology from
NS2
