MINI PROJECT:

Project Title : Simulink Implementation of Digital Cascade DC Motor.

Environment : MATLAB.

Description : This project depicts the interactive and easiest method of

developing a digital cascade control model for Direct Current

motor in SIMULINK environment. Modeling phase begin with the

model of a simple DC motor, a DC/DC H-bridge converter and

controller design.

MAIN PROJECT:

Project Title : Real Time Implementation to Reduce CO2 Emission in Vehicle

System.

Environment : Lab VIEW, Embedded System.

Description : Usually, vehicles’ stop-and-go driving will consume more fuel and

emit more CO2 than constant speed driving. To reduce vehicles’

CO2 emissions, vehicles’ travel should be smoothed by reducing

the stop-and-go times. In particular, vehicle pollution can be

avoided due to long idling, accelerating and de-acceleration. In this

project, 2 different scenarios were considered and solution has

been proposed.

• Toll collection system in Highways.

• Long waiting time at traffic signals.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES:

1. Attended two day National Seminar on Research Issues on PID Controllers and Soft

Computing technique.

2. Active volunteer in two day National Seminar.

3. Participated in the Microsoft Dream Spark Yatra.

4. Attended In Plant Training at Si’Tarc Testing and Calibration Laboratories.

ACHIVEMENTS AND RECORDS:

1. Presented paper on “Automated Biological Control of Human Nervous System”

Organized by ISE COINE Association on Sep 2010 held at Tamilnadu College of

Engineering and won second prize.

Awarded prize for class topper in 5th and 6th semester.
