County Criminal Court, Division VII under supervision of official reporter. Using digital transcription

software, prepare transcripts from digital sound files of week long criminal trials, as well as various

pretrial and post conviction hearings and motions. Conscientious and experienced in the legal

profession with background as a legal secretary, corporate paralegal and mergers and acquisitions

paralegal (see "Work Experience" below). My preference for freelance work affords me the opportunity

and flexibility to seek additional work.

WORK EXPERIENCE

* Court Reporter Typist freelance. Produce transcripts in MS Word of court proceedings from digital

files sent online or via CD (1979 Present, some years full time, some years part time).

* Research to determine correct usage and spellings of words and names as necessary.

* Proofread transcript against sound file before forwarding to official reporter for review and

finalization.

* Have all necessary transcription equipment and software to produce transcripts of all media types,

preferably digital.

* Employed as senior executive legal secretary with Federal Express Corporation Legal Department

(1979 1982); as a corporate paralegal with Boatmen's National Mortgage, Inc., f/k/a National Mortgage

Company (1990 1997); and as a mergers and acquisitions paralegal with ServiceMaster Corporation

(1997 1999).
