Project Management, Houston, TX
Duties include managing a large number of projects for a specific product line in a repair facility.
Primarily working with reciprocating compressors. Job includes managing all aspects of repairs
from bidding projects, booking purchase orders, coordinating transportation, organizing time
lines, sourcing and ordering parts, coordinating with lead men, and complicated schedules, and
working with a finance team to invoice upon project completion. Assisted in training several
employees in our operating system (Oracle Based) and basic project management.
Local Customs Coordinator
This position entailed a wide range of responsibilities including building and organizing
historical records, customs classification of various products, providing various types of customs
documentation, and working with customs brokers to import and export a wide variety of items
all over the world.
Well Monitoring, El Toro Marine Base, Irvine, CA. U.S. Navy, Project Scientist. (Weston)
Duties included well monitoring using a variety of techniques to monitor and map the movement
and concentrations of a pollutions plume in the water table. The plume spanned several miles
and through several hundred feet (depth) of aquifers. Monitoring was in conjunction with an
extraction system.
Assisted Site Characterization, Edwards Air Force Base, CA, U.S. Air Force; Project
Scientist. (Weston) Duties included assisting with well construction and conducting well
development, sampling wells, and non-hazardous waste removal on a restricted access section of
the South Base. Acted as Weston’s only on-site representative for client and sub contractor
interactions.

GreenGrid® Project Management, Los Angeles, CA. Various Clients. (Weston). One of two
people responsible for launching a new sub-division of Weston known as GreenGrid® Green
Roofs for the entire California Region. Duties include creating proposals, contractor and client
(potential and actual) interactions, installation supervision, and maintenance support.
Researched everything from plant choices (in various climatic zones throughout California), soil
mixes, irrigation systems, grey water systems, water retention systems, benefits (economic and
environmental) of green roofs, and water retention systems. Managed installation crews of up to
five people, often contending with language barriers and in extreme weather conditions.
Health and Safety Officer, Sherman Oaks, CA. (Weston) Duties include monthly office
inspections for personnel safety; contact if any injuries or accidents happened on a job site or in
the Sherman Oaks office of Weston Solutions. Random field inspections of site practices and the
review of Health and Safety Plans in accordance with OSHA and CAL OSHA standards.
Various Other Projects, Southern California, Project Scientist. (Weston) Perform well
development and monitoring for a variety of clients; both private corporation and government.
Supervise soil removals crews up to four people using large construction equipment for Los
Angeles Unified School Districts. Storm water sampling along Coastal Regions of Orange
County. Air quality monitoring at Los Angles World Airport (LAX) around on the active
runways.
Ecological Remediation, Upper Saranac Lake, New York. Scuba Diver. (New York State
Department of Environmental Conservation) Part of a 30 person dive team responsible for
hand harvesting an aquatic invasive lake plant (Eurasian Milfoil) while being supplied air with a
“hookah-rig”. Selected by crew leader for special tank operations twice during project.
Successfully cleared 44 miles of coast line in the first phase of an effort to eradicate this invasive
lake weed.
