Resident Care Specialist
Performed duties such as answering call lights in a timely manner, helped residents with bathing and
dressing and undressing and grooming. I have also assisted resident with changing linen and bed making.
Escorting residents to and from bathroom, and helping with feeding residents that required help.
Repositioning patients every two hours and passed nutrition drinks and snacks as needed. Chart patient
care on the accunurse.
Nursing assistant
To preserve patient dignity and minimize discomfort while carrying out duties such as assist with bedpan
and changing resident briefs, emptying drainage bags, vital signs, bathing, grooming and repositioning
bedridden patients. I also assisted with transferring residents to and from bed and wheelchair using
assistant device.
Nursing Assistant (private duty)
Assist patients in their homes by assisting with, bathing, dressing, and grooming. Transfer patient to and
from the bed using a wheelchair or a walker. I also helped with daily living activities such as cooking,
cleaning, and doing laundry. Assisted with medication reminders and escorting them on walks around the
property and to and from activities.
Hostess
Prepare and cook food for events, set up counter and food area. Maintained inventory before and after
events, served nonalcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Restocked and ordered supplies for the next day, I
also maintained cleanliness, kept cooking and serving area clean.
Nursing Assistant
Performing any combination of the following duties caring of patients in a hospital or a nursing home
setting, under direction of the nursing staff: Answering call lights to determine patient’s needs bathing,
dressing, and undressing patients. Serve and collect food trays and feed patients who require help.
Transport patients, using a wheelchair or assist with walking. Drapes patients for examinations and
treatment, remain with patients, while performing duties such as holding instruments and adjusting lights.
Turn and reposition bedfast patients, alone or with assistant to prevent bed sores. Changing bed linens,
run errands, direct visitors, and answer telephones. Take and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse
and respiration rate, and document food and fluid intake and output as directed. Clean, sterilize and
prepare, and issue dressing packs, treatment trays, and other supplies. Dust and cleaning patient rooms.
May also assist nursing staff in care of geriatric patients and designated Geriatric Nursing Assistant.
