● Use factory order cards to set up 50inch martin flexo. Open machines properly and use lock out

procedures, set stacker, layboy, and feed table. Set pull collars and hang dies on proper cyclinders, add

proper ink colors and check knives and rails for proper folding of box, make sure boxes have good glue

coverage on glue tab. Try to make a one box set up, measure scores, panels and glue tab, check color using

color swabs, check knife cut on boxes to ensure cutting on score and fold box up to ensure quality integrity,

cut piece of board and box,place in micrometer for crush test. Set stacker to place bundles in proper unit

patterns, and proper unit count, print load tickets and place in units for correct shipping purposes. General

house keeping duties, weigh waste at end of shift and use forklift to take waste to hogger for proper disposal.

Laser Operator/ Plastic Molding Department Lead

● Program lasers to cut steel and aluminum parts. Load steel and aluminum sheets using forklift onto

laser beds, enter program name, while laser cuts on one bed get parts off second bed and sand parts, place on

carts with travel cards for start of process. Make and document orders that had been cut and help out on

assembly line when orders were caught up. Plastic molding department lead, look up daily production list,

order plastic when needed, keep up with departments production and quality goals. Cordnant daily

production, keep production manager informed on all aspects of department productivity, waste and quality

standards, schedule overtime as needed to meet daily production needs and insure company orders were

filled. Help cut plastic if short crew members or to cut down on overtime to help companys bottom line.

● Set up 50inch flexo using factory order cards. Open machines, lock out flexo, set feed table, panels,

knives pull collars, hang dies, add proper ink colors, check glue head, rails and back stop. Remove locks close

machines up run one box, use box to measure scores, panels, glue tab, check knive placement, check printing

card for proper print and proper color on box. Set stacker, strapper and print load tickets to place in units

check also that boxes were placed in proper units sizes for shipping, clean around machine at end of shift, tag

waste and weigh waste and take to hogger. 701 flexo was a 33inch flexo that sometimes called for cutting

dies for hand holea and certain cut outs that customers wanted. I would use same set up procedures. Starch

Mixer Operator, add starch, water, costic in mixer keep written records of starch temperatures, and

thickness. Help out on corragator giving breaks to team members and shift supervisor, I would also fill in for

corragator operator when needed.
