QA Analyst
Working on Annuities Valuation System (AVS) which is a Database centric application used for Statutory
and Tax Financial Reserve Reporting.
It also has MS ASP web interface for displaying admin data, run results and summary reserve reports.
AVS is used by our actuaries for financial reporting for Statutory and Tax purposes and also future
projections. AVS also has 5 different Whatif Regions for our actuaries to test various market projections
and scenarios.
Roles and Responsibilities
Attending Functional and Technical walkthrough’s for Test Planning
•
• Creating and Executing Test Cases as per Functional Design Document
• Testing and documenting the Defect for the application with follow-up on closure of defect
via retesting. Logged the defects in HP-ALM.
• Co-ordination with Developers on reporting defects.
• Testing the flash and summary report on the web.
• Creating SQL queries & Joins on tables to ensure valid data in the database.
• Support testing on 5 AVS-Whatif regions used for whatif projections and scenarios.
