Personal Banker

General Summary: Under STAR’s Universal Banker

model the Personal Banker

serves as a trusted advisor to

our customer. This is

accomplished through the

processing of accurate

transactions, needs based

interviewing, efficient new

account opening, and cross-

selling and referring of

additional bank products. Our

Personal Bankers provide one

point of contact for the

customer who needs to cash a

check, make a deposit, open a

new relationship, or enhance a

current relationship, always

working to meet customer

needs by referring and selling

the appropriate products and

services that will benefit them

and enhance their banking

relationship.

Education/Experience: Essential qualifications include a

high school diploma or GED;

minimum one year experience

as a Teller and/or Personal

Banker.

An Associates degree in a

Business, Accounting, Finance or

related field and more than one

year experience as a Teller

and/or Personal Banker is a plus.

Skills Needed: Strong attention to detail with

accuracy in processing; proven

sales ability to identify and

recommend varying solutions;

demonstrated technical ability

to perform required duties and

the ability to keep current on

new products and all services

offered; proficiency in computer

skills to include windows based

systems.
