Project: JM Family - Wofco

JM Family is one of the largest, most innovative and diversified companies in the automotive industry. Its

principal businesses focus on vehicle distribution and processing, finance and insurance, retail vehicle

sales, and dealer technology services.

The Collections, Recovery and Recovery Accounting systems are replaced with the new/updated CGI

systems due to the inherent business risks. The changes provide a sustainable long-term maintenance and

support solutions for these applications.

This is a three phased project; first phase is to upgrade the Collections Decisions and Collections system

followed by the Lease accounts Recovery Collections system and Repo-Charge Off accounting (Recovery

Accounting system). The third phase to replace the Recovery Collections system and Repo-Charge Off

accounting for the Retail accounts is currently in progress.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the requirement gathering sessions and give the technical input for the desired

changes.

Responsible for creating the High Level and Low Level Design Documents based on the

requirements provided.

Estimation for the project, projection of the resources required to complete the task within the

Project: Credit Dataware house and Wholesale Liability Information

CDW system is a Data Ware house of Commercial Credit Risk data. This system interacts with

56 sub systems of the Credit Risk Unit. CDW keeps the latest information posted into data mart

so that at any point of time we can get the updated information from data mart. This system helps

to generate reports on credit risk associated to commercial institutional banking.

The Tables in the CDW/R is DB2 Credit Data Mart (CDM) primarily created for BASEL II

compliance requirements and used to represent the information extracted from various systems.

Provide feeds to different systems and creating reports for compliance and decision-making.

CDW team supports an IDMS Database WLI (Wholesale Liability Index) having the Customer

and Liability Information for its maintenance tasks whenever applicable. WLI sends this

information to the CDW Data Ware house.

It has a Development Team of 12 Associates, comprising 1 at On Site, and 11 at Offshore in

India, Hyderabad.

Responsibilities:

Participate in the requirement gathering and analysis discussions and understand the

requirements of the client and act as a functional resource to convert the requirements

into high level documents.

Analyzed the IDMS and DB2 tables to form a relational schema and normalize the

database structure to create future usable relational tables with correct identification of

January 1, 2006. The changes extend new benefits and options to everyone who has Medicare

coverage, including prescription drug benefits. This prescription drug benefit is known as

“Medicare Part D.”

Medicare Advantage plans feature prescription drug benefits, fixed costs, limits on out-of-pocket

expenses, and worldwide coverage for emergency and urgent care.

The work here involved modifying the existing programs to support the changes and developing

new programs as demanded by C.I Medicare.
