Worked as a Mechanical Engineer with L&T SUCG JV, Chennai Metro Rail Limited, Chennai in Plant

& Machinery Department from 13-Jul-2013 to 20-Dec-2014.

Work Summary :

• Experience in Erection & Assembly of EPB TBM.

• Cutter repair for both double disc and single disc according to the requirement

• Erection and commissioning of Gantry cranes, Batching plant

• Ensuring full training and protective safety ware is given to workers.

• Study Machine drawing and hydraulic circuit and troubleshooting hydraulic problems based on

drawings.

• Looking after the shift operations, installation and maintenance and following up timely execution of

• Maintaining all supply lines of TBM and upstream and downstream technical equipment like

• Monitoring the activities and coordinating with other departments for uninterrupted excavation

(boring).

• To ensure technical coordination for routine day to day basis and participating in project progress

meetings and to report to the project manager.

• Monitoring and handling shift activities along with backup supply.

• Took active part in dismantling and assembling of heavy machines and was responsible for

dismantling and assembling Gantry crane, Batching Plant, Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM)

• Maintenance of day to day records and monthly records

• Liaising with the project team and sub-contractors

• Spare Parts arrangements and Handling with Suppliers

• Co-ordinate with other departments and experts for further extensions and installations of machines

to be carried out.

Descriptio : In all production processes, we need to monitor the extent to which our products

n meet specifications. In the Car body production quality check starts from the

very first stage from design and fabrication of module to the final finished

product in assembly line. The defects detected at each stage is rectified before

it reaches next level or sent back to previous stage for refabrication. During

the earlier stages of developing the production process, designed experiments

are often used to optimize the quality characteristics. The methods provided in

Quality Control are on-line or in-process quality control procedures to monitor

an on-going production process.
