Kulkarni Power Tools Ltd, Shirol, as R-Lab In-charge from July 2010 working as a Test Lead for

validation electromechanical based power tools. Mainly test planning and test execution and reporting

work.

Brief responsibilities as below,

• Carry out routine (Life & live) & type test of power tools as per IS: 4665, IS: 996, IEC60745

test procedures.

• Getting product approval as per test procedures of SONCAP, SASO, and Kenya for exports

consignments.

• Execution & monitoring of reliability lab tests for regular power tools.

• Need to visit at CHINA based vendors for product testing & product development.

• Determination of validation tests for new product development.

• Assisting product design team for benchmarking of company’s future product.

• Need to carry out validation trials for development products.

• Analysis of unspoken intangible user feedback during field trials & its conversion to design

terms during new product development trials.

• Need to carry out field trials (within India & outside) & failure analysis during product

development stages.

• Testing, validation of competitor’s product against its product specification & generating data

base for new product development.

• Need to conduct intermediate product validation review with design department.

• Analysis of customer complaints & suggestions.

• Need to conduct stock quality audit.

• Assisting company MR for ISO audit.

• Calibration of instruments as per periodic scheduled.

• Analysis of FOC parts & settlement of FOC claims.

• Need to train newly joined service engineer.

• Training & guidance to sub ordinates.
