AISI 1040 Steel Bar with HSS tool and carbide inserts based on
Taguchi Design of Experiments
1. Studied the surface roughness and temperatures of AISI material while
turning process, based on Taguchi DOE.
2. Captured the temperatures and surface roughness using Thermo-couple
and surface roughness tester for Two-Way ANOVA.
3. Developed Regression model of Surface Roughness and Temperatures based
on feeds and speeds using Minitab.
