properties and Wear studies on

Al-Si-Mg alloy reinforced with graphite.

DESCRPTION:

Developed a composite through liquid metallurgy route, Where

A356.0 is reinforced with Graphite. Castings with varied properties of

reinforcing elements obtained. They were further heat treated .The

specimens obtained as per standard norms were standard for

microstructure,mechanical properties and Wear behavior. The results of

heated alloy/composites were compared with As-cast specimen
