I am a carpenter and joiner of 30 years or more experience. I have experience of working in the

construction industry both on housing sites, commercial sites, hospitals and public buildings. My

skills enable me to carry out any carpentry tasks, loft conversions, roofing works (both trust and cutt),

all joisting, flooring, stairs i.e. 1st fix, all 2nd fix works including kitchens, finals and joinery items and

'snagging'. Worked at a supervisory level in my most recent position.

Work History

During my career I have worked on a number of projects ranging from housing sites, commercial

sites to high profile projects such as the millennium stadium. Some of my recent projects include the

construction of 6 flats for the housing association, the medical centre in Westbury, the Sherman

Theatre renovation, Newport Gwent Dragon's stadium new build, Bristol Community Centre, Health

Centre, Police Station and Social services building new build, Heath Hospital PET scanner building,

with 15 ward renovation including women's services new build (5 year project), 76 flat new build on

Dunballs Road. Previous to these projects I was working on housing contracts on Redrow and

Westbury sites. erecting timber frame and roofing trust and cutt. I have also worked on envelope

schemes renovating old properties. These are samples of my recent work history of the previous

decade. Over my career I have been hands on with a supervisory duty. Recently worked on

monmouth school till present.

Interests and Hobbies

I like reading, I enjoy socialising and spending time with my family. I am a keen sports enthusiast

and enjoy football, rugby and snooker playing in local leagues. I am now a retired snooker coach,

but used to coach juniors and teens in Caerphilly, Trecenydd, Senghenydd, Churchvillage and other

areas in South Wales. I also enjoy watching my sons band play at gigs.
