Thank you for the opportunity to be considered for an Executive Assistant position. Supplemental to my resume, I am writing to express my strong interest in this opportunity as well as provide you with some additional key elements about my background.

What I lack in experience I make up for in enthusiasm and willingness to learn. In December, I graduated with my Masters in Public Administration from the University of North Florida and completed the inaugural VCC Customer Experience Internship. My qualifications for this opening come from my time spent in the hospitality industry, as a personnel specialist for the Navy, and as an intern for the Amelia Island Museum of History. In every situation I was able to maintain a professional demeanor across all levels of the organization. Working in a restaurant requires the ability to build relationships with and understand a diverse clientele, patience, and attention to detail and quality standards. My experience working with the Navy required me to be effective, efficient and detail oriented while ensuring proper data entry and database management of human resource functions, frequently under tight timelines. During my time on the instillation timeliness reports were raised to and consistently maintained at 99% accuracy. Analytical skills were a vital part of every day. Interning at a small nonprofit organization forced me to wear many different hats throughout the day depending on the situation. In both professional as well as academic environments, I have organized various events to encourage employee participation and teambuilding with great success and would love to bring some of these skills to the office.

With a passion to share my knowledge and experiences with others I believe that I am a perfect match for to fill this announcement. I am willing to complete any necessary training or certification. It is my goal to combine my range of experience with qualities like patience, persistence and professionalism to bring a positive contribution to this organizagtion.
