Graphics Prepress/IT Manager: Created and managed the IT assets and computer prepress

for a large format printing company. Responsibilities include:

IT Management Role:

Implement and manage all the IT assets for the company. Assets include over 40 workstations

ranging from Windows XP/7/8 computers, RIP/Printer control workstations, Mac OSX prepress

workstations/OSX file servers, and Microsoft Servers 2003/2008R2). Network management

includes all network attached storage and printers/copiers, all LAN/WAN network management

(firewall/content control/network security, RDP, VPN, and FTP services). Also handled is the

purchasing and implementing of all new hardware/software, server active directory domain

management, email administration, and systems backup.

Prepress Management Role:

Manage the digital prepress department, including taking it through its technological

evolution from rubylith plotting, to film based output, and lastly direct-to-screen imaging.

Management duties include the purchasing, implementing and maintaining of all prepress

hardware and software, graphics team training and technical guidance, color management,

file preflight, color correcting/retouch, imposition, trapping, proofing and job output.
