PROJECT DETAILS

Client 1 : Xerox

Our team is a production support and maintenance project team which

supports 12 applications. Apart from production issues we were also dealing

with smaller enhancements. SupplyNet is an online order entry system for

Xerox Supplies and Parts. Users can enter orders, maintain orders, and

review order data. SupplyNet also receives various orders feed from

different interfaces.

Xerox is the world's leading enterprise for business process and document

management, offering global services from claims reimbursement and

automated toll transaction to customer care centers and HR benefits

management. The new Xerox is dedicated to innovation, service. The company

operates in the US, UK and Europe. Africa & Asia/Pacific. Xerox mainframe

system has two Lpars

Client 2 : Matson

Matson, Inc. (formerly known as Matson Navigation Company), is a

public shipping company which was founded in 1882. The company provides

shipping services Pacific-wide, mainly to and from the Hawaiian Islands.

Matson is credited with introducing mass tourism to Hawaii. Matson

mainframe system has two Lpars.

Client 3 : FSG

Financial Services Group offer clients our financial expertise to help them

develop a customized financial plan which meets their special needs. With a

well-considered and professionally developed plan in place there is no need

to chase returns. Our goal is to help clients accumulate and protect their

wealth for today and for the future.FSG has 6 Lpars.

Project Description: There are jobs set up in CA7 And ZEKE to bring up the

On lines/regions, at specified times that are required by the costumer. The

application consists of Batch and online environment. Production Control is

responsible for Entire batch cycle, Root Cause analysis & fixes,

enhancements

Key Role: My responsibility is to both scheduling the jobs as per the

requirement of client and monitoring the batch jobs in Mainframe and ensure

that jobs are running fine on time without any delay and ensuring all

Critical jobs should be completed by SLA time decided by the client.

Strictly adhering to Escalation and Notification whenever there is an issue

with the batch job flow

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing 24*7 supports to RIM/GIES CSC India Mainframes from a Global

Command Center, this includes the following activities:

> Handling the abends and taking the actions as per user requirement

like restart/rerun, force complete, cancelling the execution jobs

> Schedule the jobs with the mentioned conditions such as time,

predecessor job, pre requisite conditions for future dates.

> Doing checks on online's availability, tasks, job's output using SDSF

> Hosting the SRT/Technical Bridge call globally with various

supports to solve severity 1 & severity 2 issues which will be an

impact on client services. Meanwhile creating / updating the

history of SRT in the Incident Tickets.

> Resolving or Escalating critical issues in online regions within the

given SLA.

> Purge/cancel the jobs from SDSF. Performing maintenance on daily basis

as per client request.

> Working as a shift lead to achieve Business objectives and Client

Service level agreement (SLA).

> Providing support for Disaster Recovery drills and for testing/

implementation performed for up gradation of Scheduled Jobs.

> Interact with Clients on daily basis (DSR) and address previous day's

reports in case of any issues.

> Perform IPL on all the LPARs during maintenance slots and

troubleshooting during the IPL.

> Escalating, re-assigning, and resolving problem tickets on remedy

> Handling calls with international clients and customers from all

regions of the world.
