Organization: Finolex Cables Ltd.

Duration : 30 Days

Title : Market Survey on Compact Fluorescent Lamp

Market with reference to Finolex Cables Ltd.

Description : This project is all about the compact fluorescent

lamps with respect to Finolex CFL Finoglow. Finolex is a well established

manufacturer of cables and proved to be a successful in the field of

cables. The Company launched 'Finoglow', its brand of CFLs, during August

2006. Finoglow is an energy saving lamp. Knowing whereabouts of other

company CFL brands, their marketing initiatives, techniques and

distribution network strategies etc. is the part of this project. Finolex

newly entered into the lighting products division hence the company is

gaining knowledge about the CFL market, movement of CFL in the market and

the potential areas where the usage of CFL is more so that the company can

project the Finoglow in the non-trade segment with unique marketing

practices.

Title : Performance Appraisal

Description : People differ in their abilities and their aptitudes.

There is always some difference between the quality and quantity of the

same work on the same job being done by two different people. Performance

appraisals of Employees are necessary to understand each employee's

abilities, competencies and relative merit and worth for the organization.

Performance appraisal rates the employees in terms of their performance.
