WORK EXPERIENCE:

. Currently I am working in Metals Seam Pvt. Ltd, Lucknow. From October

2013 to till now as a Production Engineer. Manufacture of tin

Containers & Steel drums. Company is one of the largest supplier in

north india in terms of production as well as quality. Company is

established in1964 as the pioneer manufacturer of steel drum 5 liter

to 200 liter Capacity truly as per ISO specification. Company has

business with multinational company KANSAI Nerolac Paints, ASIAN

Paints, BERGER Paints, MICRO Ink, SAKATA Inks, FCL etc.

. From dated February 2012 to September 2013. I worked at Pilot

Industries Limited, Rudrapur (Uttrakhand). There I work as a Asst.

Production Engineer. Basically it is a vendor company of Cummins, Tata

Green, Amaron, Base etc Batteries.

. From dated February 2011 to January 2012, I worked at Global Smelters

Pvt Ltd, Unnao (Kanpur). There I work as a Project Leader. Basically

Global Smelters Pvt. Ltd. is a firm to manufacture the structure of

the towers used in the Transmission Line. As a Project Leader I have

to complete all job cards, create the job sheet, maintaining the

balance sheet, and after all I have to report the complete output of

the given project to the Production Manager.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:-

. Production Planning.-

Making targets of production of finished goods according to

requirements, working shifts, allocation of man power, supervision of

overall operation.

. Management Reports-

Generating MIS reports.

. Team Leader-

Handling different groups of workers for production, quality control.

managing workers for different machines like power press, offset,

shearing etc.

. Training & Development programs-

Proper training & developments programs for workers for getting new

skills and competencies.

. Offset to line production-

from uncoated sheet to finished tin containers. Giving Supervision

reports to managements & giving training to supervisor how to make

it.

. Analysis of performance and monetary wise impact (cost reduction) in

conjunction with production head at the end of the day.

. Arrangement of manpower, material, machine to achieve the targeted

production as per schedule.

. Ensure work instruction is being followed by operators and helpers.

. Minimizing wastage and rejection as per standard set by the company.

. Maintain a report of scrap generated and rework on daily basis.

. Data preparation to analyze overall process loss/gain.

. Ensure PPP & PPM are met as per standard norms set by company.

. Ensure optimum utilization of work area.

. Allocation of manpower within section.

. In case of m/c breakdown fill up breakdown slip and effort should be

made to get it rectified at the earliest.

. Maintain production sheet daily.

. Ensure that the stock movement is made without the respective Challan.

. Ensure proper handover of records and resources to the next shift in

charge.

. Troubleshoot with maintenance department if machine in case of

breakdown.

. To maintain inventory of all grid and lead ingots in the predefined

area.

. Briefly summarize day activity with the production head at the end of

the day and finalize the plan for next day.

. Ensuring that strong and efficient teamwork culture exists within the

production team.

. Directing the production team members and introducing efficient

methods of production line.

PROJECT UNDERTAKEN:

. The topic on the final year project is "Motorized Screw Jack". In this

project we have attached a DC Motor by the help of which we are going

to lift the weight by using Screw Jack. Actually this motor provides

the rotating action to the screw for the purpose of lifting, and this

motor can work out with the use of a 12 Volt battery.
