Supervisor, Vascor Ltd Taylor, Michigan 12/2011-12/2012
Supervisor - I am responsible for supervising 10-20 employees. We are contracted with
Chrysler to ship and receive vehicles in to repair or ship to dealerships or whatever
business has ordered the vehicles that we have received. I am responsible for overseeing
the yard where vehicles are being moved from one place to another and monitoring the
work done by employees. Vehicles are inspected and documented according to the
condition they were in when received and shipped out by us. I place damage vehicles (if
any) into a software program to be repaired or sent back to its origin. At end of night reports
are done and distributed to those who need them. Employees are evaluated on their work
performance and saftey attitude. Hand held scanners are also used to scan the Vin
numbers of vehicles. This is so that we will know where every vehicle is and the history of
each vehicle once it is in our possession. It also lets us know who the last person that
touches each vehicle is and what their contact with each vehicle was. So if there is a
problem with any vehicle I wil know who to go directly to.
