• Know without doubt when a compressor is bad. Whether i t is open, short, or ground.

• Know when TEV (thermostatic expansion valve) is bad, good, or simply cleaning the

head.

• Can set pressure control switches, variable control, or proportional control with

automatic reset.

• Know run and start capacities and how to determine if they are bad or good.

• Cooling tower switches and the proper way to perform preventive maintenance and

t he split and what it should be.

• Did a lot of welding and brazing and I was taught to get i t r ight the fi rst t ime.
