Description This project was organized by the Mr. Satish Kumar Roy

(faculty at BK BIET, Pilani) which is aimed at exposing the

students to real world atmosphere where they can gain

familiarity with the industrial environment and can put their

technical skills to practical use.

The aim of this project is to study about the use of power

electronics in power protection system with greater

efficiency and low losses and cost. This SCR relay can be

connected with any of the existing domestic load.

Role Training student

Description This project was the part of industrial training program (at

the end of 6th sem.) as per recommended by the university.

At DLF MOI site I have learned how to install and protect a

power system. I have learned about the grounding of

generators, transformers and whole building. There I learned

about the installation of HVAC (heat, ventilation and air-

conditioning), generator and transformers. There I did the

pre-commissioning tests of transformers. Also I learned

about plumbing and fire protection system of buildings.

Role Internship

Description This internship is the part of university exchange program at

king mongkut’s university of technology thonburi, Bangkok

(Thailand). I am working on image processing and

ARDUINO under professor werapon in optic lab. My

project is an object follower robot, which follows an object

of any color or shape. For this I uses a USB camera, an

ARDUINO, two dc geared motors, robotic case for car,

motor driver IC and MATLAB software for image

processing purpose. This project can be used for navigation,

surveillance and in automotive vehicle.
