IT Infrastructure Manager
Manage all IT Infrastructure including Data, Telecommunications, Remote Access and Mobile
Device Management for 30 local and remote employees. Provide support and training for all end-
user applications. Expanded and evolved the network environment from one Windows 2000 SBS
supporting 18 users with DSL connectivity to a 3 Server (2003 and 2008 R2) environment
supporting 30 local and remote users with dual/redundant data lines (T1 and Business
Broadband).
• Performed 2 Server and Exchange upgrades to Server/Exchange 2003 and to Server 2008 R2
and Exchange 2010.
• Migrated the office phone system from an Inter Tel Axxess System to an Avaya IP Office
System. The IP Office System added multi-site, Remote VoIP and Conference Bridge
capabilities.
• Upgraded the office data connection from a single DSL connection to a T1 Data Connection
and a Comcast Business Broadband Connection. A SonicWall Firewall with automatic failover
ability is used to eliminate the loss of data connection due to ISP Outages.
• Implemented a datto SIRIS 2 Backup solution. All server data is backed up to a local device
and sent to off-site to data centers. Single files or server images can be restored or virtualized
locally or cloud hosted providing complete Business Continuation/Disaster Recovery.
• Installed Barracuda Solutions to provide support for users and the network. Installed 2
hardware devices. A Barracuda Message Archiver 350 provides full email message archiving
for all users. A Barracuda SSL/VPN Concentrator manages remote access for users to
remote desktop and terminal services sessions. Barracuda Email Security Service is a hosted
service that provides all email SPAM and Virus Filtering for the Exchange environment.
• Migrated from a local installation of Blackberry Enterprise Server to the hosted AirWatch
service to provide Mobile Device Management for any smartphone, tablet or laptop
independent of manufacturer or service provider.
