Bonds and Derivatives. The interface will be a web based OLAP system that will provide business intelligence capability to the user.
PROJECT: COMPLIANCE AND BI REPORTING (Oracle):
Compliance:
Developed a java based engine through which trades are routed from trader's desk to compliance team so as to make sure trades are
in compliance with company’s rules and regulations or not. Then trader gets notification that they can go ahead if it complies
BI Reporting:
To generate reports needed by compliance team to make sure things are in compliance with the company's regulations
Developed a separate Data Warehouse from where reports can be generated. Helped ETL team to transform data from OLTP
database to Oracle based Data Warehouse from where reports can be generated for the compliance team
PROJECT: Oracle REPORT GENERATION:
Previous reporting system was based on Sybase and the management thought the reports generated were outdated and old and so
they wanted to migrate to Oracle based reporting system;
Sybase was pulling data from another source that would be transformed to Oracle and hence we would be missing some attributes as
designing of Oracle is such that they trimmed the attributes to save space.
Previously the reports were generated on PERL Scripts (PDF files mostly) and now Oracle BI would generate it.
