After starting with the company as a valet, I was promoting to this position in less
than one year making me the youngest member on the team. While the purpose of
this job was to support myself through my studies, this job provided me with valuable
insight and experience into the customer service industry. First and foremost, this job
is based on a team oriented system that requires co-operation, communication and
consistent team management skills. It also provided me with the opportunity to gain
valuable experience at the operational level of the organization. This in turn gave me
significant experience with customer service, learning many characteristics and ex-
pectations of the companies core consumers. It also gave me the ability to deal with
dissatisfied consumers on an individual basis. Being in school for business administra-
tion with a concentration in marketing, this was an excellent opportunity to apply
