TataSky Transcoding

This project involved development of Application for companion devices that enables user to do plan

management and transfer/view recordings from STB.

Roles & Responsibilities

Analyzing the Requirements from the client

Preparing Test scenarios and test cases (Functional, UI, Performance, Interruption and Stress) for module,

Integration and System testing.

Preparing Test environment and hardware Setup to Execute test cases

Execution of test cases, defect tracking and giving mandatory information to developers in order to fix a bug.

Preparation of summary of test reports and analyzing it.

Technologies/Tools Used:

Fundamentals of testing, System knowledge of STB and companion devices like Android,

iOS, Device Spy, Tera term, HP Quality center and IBM clear quest.

TataSky Navigator UI

Infinite TV is the Cisco generic product that includes core multi device OTT functionality

on the CAB Headend (UHE). This application will deliver Linear TV, VOD adaptive bitrate

content to mobile devices (IOS, Android) and Systems (Mac OS, Windows) and TVOD

form the devices.
