Master of Engineering Management (MEM) Programs
Led the development, implementation, and management of the MEM and first in the industry MPD programs –
from curriculum design, development, implementation and recruiting faculty, and students. Launched the program
in a record time of 3 months.
• Managed P&L for the MPD and MEM Programs – multiple locations. Increased the number of participating
organizations for the MPD Program (from 2 to 15) and grew enrollments 15 percent annually, producing more
than 200 graduates since the program’s inception. Increased enrollment for MEM by over 50 % in 3 yrs.
• Established the practice of continually updating the curriculum to reflect business needs and to have industry
leaders serve as guest lecturers and teach in the program.
• Established a partnership with the International Quality Federation to offer a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and
Black Belt Certification Program; and launched a Doctorate of Engineering Program for MPD graduates, with
concentration on product development.

SEMINARS & PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLANNING
• For the past twenty years, I have planned, marketed, and conducted a number of intensive seminars on
technology topics including Entrepreneurship, Strategy Planning, Process Improvement, Product Design for
Ease of Manufacturing, Computer-Aided Design/Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM), Robotics,
Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS), Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM), Quality Improvement
Techniques (QIT), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). The seminars have varied in length from half
day to three days, and from 20 to 200 participants per offering. These briefings have bee n extremely well
received and conducted in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, India, and
Japan.
• At Ford Motor Company designed, organized, and delivered an annual seminar over a 10-year period to
enhance technology awareness for employees, contractors, and the company’s key publics.
• Facilitated development of course material for Design for Manufacturability at Ford Motor Company and
organized training programs for over 8,000 engineering & manufacturing personnel worldwide.
UNIVERSITY STUDY COURSES
• Instrumental in starting a robotics curriculum at the University of Michigan. Resulted in the development of
a full-scale laboratory. Obtained donation of equipment and grants valued over $2 million from industry
(Ford Motor Company and tier suppliers), now available for use by the students.
• As an Adjunct Professor, taught Robotics and software development at the University of Michigan.
