Project Title : Study Of 1,3 Butadiene Plant

Description : This plant is a part of Naphtha Cracker ASSOCIATED Units

(NCAU) and designed to extract 1,3 Butadiene out of the mixed C4 fraction .

Project Undertaken (2012-13):

Project Title : Design of Packed Bed Distillation Column

Description : Batch Distillation of methanol-water solution (50%each)

using a vacuum packed distillation column has been done.

Project Undertaken (2013-14):

Project Title : Design of CO2 to Methanol plant incorporating CZA

(Cu/ZnO/Al2O3)Catalyst

Description : Main focus is to prepare CZA (Copper, Zinc Oxide and

Aluminum oxide) catalyst and study its impact on the reaction (Hydrogen and

Carbon-dioxide forming methanol) & to see the feasibility of our reaction

and methods by which we can improve the economy of our entire process.

Currently working: Presently working in a famous LPG company at Chennai.
