MAJOR CLASS PROJECTS
Manufacturing Research Assessment project (Tetra-Pack Inc)
Conducted research in an industrial facility (Tetra-Pack Inc.,
Sikeston, MO), to analyze efficiency of the employees by gathering
and reviewing production efficiency data. Generated reports and
provided recommendations to improve the efficiency of the employees.
Designing a Lab Layout (Robotics Lab, SEMO)
Designed a new lab layout for renovation of a robotic lab in
Southeast Missouri State University. Single handedly configured PLC-
Rack for robotics lab project utilizing industrial grade hardware
(PLC5, Allen Bradley).
Programmed a PLC Network with Remote PLC Devices
Programmed two PLC5 (Allen Bradley) controller devices to
communicate with each other, and to perform specific remote
operations assigned from a master PLC.
Soda Can Transfer Robot Program
Programmed a PLC5 (Allen Bradley) to automate a soda can transfer
system using a pneumatic robot. Designed an Allen Bradley
PanelView/Human Machine Interface (HMI) to control and monitor the
robotic operations.
Parts Transferring System
Designed automated parts handling process using a PLC 5 controller
and two Adept Cobra Robots. Project involved hardware design,
implementation and PLC programing.
Energy Efficiency Research
Trained as an industrial energy analyst, to conduct energy
assessments at a manufacturing facility. Research involved in
identifying and generating energy savings recommendations based on
waste reduction, energy consumption, and overall efficiency
increments.
