Duties performed:
Safe navigation of ship using radar, ECDIS and all other bridge equipment,
monitoring ship's position, speed and stability, weather and safety
messages, weather reports, communicating with other ships and coast
stations, port/anchor watch, cargo operations, fire/safety watches,
security watches, monitoring communications, monitoring the anchor or
mooring lines, responding to emergencies, support Chief Officer, updating
Deck Logbook, safety maintenance/recording tasks, in charge of LSA/FFA,
recording of work/rest hours, in charge of catering, communications between
ship and company, assisting Master when required, keeping publications up-
to-date, supervising and training Cadets, Crew training, interact with a
multi-lingual/cultural crew.
